Washington, D.C. & Maryland

Explore Washington, D.C. and Maryland through a small collection of fine art photographs capturing monumental architecture and the Mid-Atlantic landscape. In Washington, images of the U.S. Capitol, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial explore the scale, symmetry and enduring presence of some of America’s most recognizable landmarks.

In Maryland, photographs of the Susquehanna River at Havre de Grace reveal a quieter landscape shaped by water, changing light and the river’s meeting with the Chesapeake Bay. In color and black and white, this collection reflects two distinct expressions of place, history and the American landscape.
